Metal Gear Solid HD Collection è una raccolta per PlayStation 3 e Xbox 360 che include tre episodi della celebre serie creata da Hideo Kojima per Konami, rimasterizzzati in HD.
Gli episodi in questione sono Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty (nella versione estesa Substance), Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater (nella versione estesa Subsistence) e Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker, quest'ultimo uscito in precedenza solo in versione PSP.
Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty introduce per la prima volta il personaggio di Raiden, che controlleremo per gran parte dell'avventura, in una missione ad alto rischio tesa a liberare gli ostaggi di un gruppo terroristico, che includono il Presidente degli Stati Uniti.
Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater è invece ambientato negli anni '60 e ci mette nei panni di Naked Snake, ovvero lo "Snake originale", a cui viene assegnato il compito di sconfiggere la temibile Big Boss dopo che quest'ultima si è alleata con il nemico.
Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker è infine, a tutti gli effetti, il sequel di Snake Eater. Sempre al comando di Solid Snake, incontreremo una ragazza di nome Paz e un misterioso "professore" che ci convinceranno a portare a termine alcune rischise missioni nell'America centrale degli anni '70.
